"The Lakehouse is located at the best part of the Lake Toya to stay with amazing view from your room and walkway along the lake. The house is also very pretty with lots of trees and flowers. The host was very friendly and attentive (even via email before we arrived). Highly recommend!!"

"The lakehouse is an amazing place to stay! We stayed in winter and the views of Lake Toya were spectacular - right from the living room and also from our bedroom. The house was just what we expected from the pictures and has central heating so is nice and warm. The hosts Jonny and Ayuko are super friendly and can give advice on nearby places to eat and shop. We were snowboarding at Rusutsu which is about 20 minutes away by car. Jonny also made us an excellent breakfast for a very reasonable cost. There is a real fire in the living room, which was perfect on a winter's night. I was sick with a cold while staying and Ayuko offered me some medicine and tea. Overall I would definitely recommend this place."
